10/01/2012: IGQ - guaranteed quality for EN 1057 copper tubes

Feinrohren, always oriented to the guarantee and the protection of the consumers, asked for and obtained the born of an Italian quality hallmark for copper tubes, this to put Italy on the same conditions of other European Countries where, from tents, national hallmarks are safeguarding the quality of the products.

This Year, in cooperation with the Italian Institute for Guarantee IGQ, finally born the Italian hallmark for copper tubes produced according to EN 1057 for heating and sanitary applications.

Starting from September 2011 the copper tubes produced by Feinrohren according to EN 1057 and destined for the Italian market will therefore be marked UNI IGQ P112.

IGQ guarantees the conformity of the products through periodical tests on the market and Inspection audits to the Producers.

The target for 2012 is to introduce the IGQ certification also for the tubes for air-conditioning and refrigeration produced according to EN 12735-1 standard.
